Just say it!

Between your heart and your crotch are the guts to say "no", kids!

Goodbye, Walter

I suppose this is what I get for not checking in with the blogs I should be reading. Upon catching up, I found that our dear friend, K, has lost her husband. They were definitely a pair. I hope my life can know the love that they had between them. Godspeed, Walter. We love ya, K. Mike

Love to learn

I love learning about Australia. Seems a wonderful place to live. Save for the spiders and snakes.

Uncle Ralph

Been pretty sick at the VA hospital. I'd just like to thank Facebook for making the group messages feature so we all can keep updated who can't make it to Lexington.

Foreign exchange

My dear friend in Queensland and I are exchanging local sweets and goodies. It's a lot of fun. She's a good friend.

I was right!

The 'Summer of Anemia' came to fruition. You cannot spend more than a couple of minutes outside before being feasted upon. I hate it.

Monkey see….

I think it’s funny. Some person (who shall remain nameless) made a ‘promise’ about sending something to my kid. And didn’t.

Then they drone on twitter about people being two-faced and not holding to the promises they make and basically raking them over the coals publicly about it.

I don’t care if you screw me over, just don’t raise the hopes of a child and then just callously disregard them. It pisses me off.

Where’s Winter?

I swear I think Jack Frost is on vacation this year. We’ve had a total of 2 3/4 inches of snow this year. That’s total, as in all season long. There’s going to be soooo many mosquitoes buzzing about this summer.

I declare Summer 2012 to be the “Summer of Anemia”.

Another Bad Mail Day

I’m seriously just going to stop checking. Disappointments day after ever-loving day. *Sigh*.

What a difference 24 hours makes…

From a 75F day yesterday to a windy, damp, basically “ewww” day today. Kentucky always has an interesting winter. No real snow this year, but damp and nasty to make up for it. Here’s the kicker: I wonder if anyone has thought about what the lack of snow and really cold temperatures did to the insect populations this year….it’s gonna be a buggy summer, y’all.

Another sunny winter’s day

It’s almost 65F here today in the midst of winter.

I’d say a thunderstorm is due soon. It hasn’t been much of a winter (knocks firmly on wood).

Hope everyone is doing o.k. who happens to read these posts. And a special shout-out to K. I hope she’s in good health and Walter as well.

Peace, love and tacos!

Mike

New Windows Live Writer

Well, here’s what it looks like, I’ll be tweaking and playing with the settings. I hope it doesn’t disappoint!

Has it been a year?

My goodness, I'm derelict in my blogging.
I'm not sure if a soul has ever read them, but who knows? Maybe my rants are entertaining to SOMEBODY.

I guess in the year past, I moved in September to "town". If you want to call it that, just a 3 stoplight town. It's nowhere near an urban area if that's what you consider "town" to be. I don't.

Stacey purchased a piece of land out at her old home place around March. We haven't moved onto it, just burned the old, decrepit house that was sitting on it, cleared some brush and stuff.

That's all I have this morning, I hope to get back in the swing of things. I have new Microsoft Windows 7 and it has a Writer program that may inspire me to be more productive in the blogging department. I hope all is well with my readers, few as they may be, and a special hello to K from www.ksquest.blogspot.com It was good to see her name pop up.
